Ankle immobilization
Immobilization treatment has to be effected by securing the whole of the patient's body
onto a spinal support. By securing the body to a spine board, five points (feet, knees, pelvis, shoulders and head) are fixed with the same grade of resistance. Modern systems make it possible to achieve high levels of immobilization between the patient's metameres.
Nevertheless it is essential that the system components are compatible to improve the
effect. To achieve the correct alignment position, it is necessary to immobilize even the furthermost part of the lower limbs; that is why Spencer has developed two products that
