Finally the problem of stocking vacuum mattresses is solved. If used on one side the Combimatt is a soft mattress for stretchers, if used on the other side it is an excellent vacuum mattress with longitudinal canals containing the air chambers.
Used as a mattress for stretcher, Combimatt offers characteristics that optimise the transportation of the patient, as it absorbs all mechanical vibrations and improves thermal isolation. The on/off valve made of chromed brass with a built-in fitting for rubber tube is resistant to any temperature and guarantees unlimited duration. Combimatt is supplied with three one-piece 50 mm nylon security belts with plastic buckle.

Combimatt The longitudinal canals filled with granules give form to the internal chambers, ensuring simple and effective positioning. This allows adaptation to any patient. The rhomboid design of the canals is exclusive to Spencer's vacuum mattresses; this system guarantees total adherence, without interruptions. There is never any contact between the upper and lower surfaces.
Combimatt A low weight mattress with reduced volume, made of expanded closed-cell anti-rotting polyethylene, contained in a special pocket, optimises the patient's comfort when used as a mattress for a stretcher.
Combimatt The pocket for keeping the high-density expanded closed-cell polyethylene sheet can be used to make the mattress rigid if a spine board is placed in it. The pocket is closed by means of a strap system.

The combination of the longitudinal chambers with the structure of the multi-layered wooden lower part, confers to Nexus important antishrinkage properties. Nexus is lightweight and can be stored in small spaces. It is made with high resistance materials. Thanks to the wooden support, the mattress can be transported by just two rescuers without compromising the stabilisation of the patient. If adequately secured, this system allows patient transportation in an inclined position. The two lower and upper chambers are made with a special nylon material coated with poly-vinyl. The lower support part is very resistant to avoid undesired scratches and guarantees a good grip. Res-Q-Matt is made up of two parts: the internal part, realized by HFW techniques two robust sheets of PVC with no sems, containing polystyrene spheres; the external part is made of nylon and has eight handles, which allow transportation and also protect from scratching. The on/off valve made of chromed brass with a built-in fitting for rubber tube is resistant to any temperature and guarantees unlimited duration. The reduced dimensions make it particularly functional for use on stretchers and where there are problems with storage space.

CDK is a classic vacuum mattress, it is robust and reliable. The lower part of the CDK is fitted with a rope reinforced with Santoprene® handgrips to ensure an easy handling system. Versatile, easy to use and to clean. Thanks to the very limited dimensions it can be placed on every emergency vehicle, because paediatric immobilization must be done very quickly and correctly.
